A large vertical spring is hanging from a stand, and various known and unknown masses can be put on the end. Start it at equilibrium, or start it at the top or bottom. Use the built-in stopwatch to take measurements. Unlike the classroom version of the lab, in this app you'll be able to slow the motion down to get a better look at what's happening. Half speed, quarter speed, or even paused. You can also choose to dampen the spring with just a click of a button. And all while the spring is in motion, the position is being automatically graphed.
